Fellow of the French Academy in Rome - Villa Medicis
Frederique is an architect and a painter. Her interest focus on ordinary domesticity and how to create new conditions of interacting and living together. Her work combines objects and spaces that are simple, rational and comfortable, combining a local low-tech approach with high-tech features. Her paintings interrogates images and scenes that are populating our daily life, focusing on the 99% of the spaces we are living being the by-products of the architectural realm. They were recently shown in several art show in France including Villa Médicis, Collection Lambert, Fondation Carmignac.
Frederique has taught at the Architectural Association in London and London Metropolitan University alongside being invited as a guest critic in a wide range of architectural insitutions. She previoulsy worked with Faye Toogood and Adam Khan Architects.

Flavien is an architect with a dual-degree in Urban Affairs from Sciences Po Paris and London School of Economics. Flavien’s ability to articulate architectural, political, economical issues of urban regeneration and real estate development help to build relevant visions for urban projects. Flavien is extensively writing and debating to fuel the social, political and cultural debate on built environment issues. He taught and lectured at Architectural Association, Harvard Kennedy School, Venice Biennale. He was actively engaged alongside Wolfgang Tillmans and Rem Koolhaas for the Vote Together.eu campaign.
His first book, New Commons for Europe is a dialogue on spontaneous ways of making the city, which emerged after the 2008 financial crisis. He is currently working on a second book which will focus on the proto-architectures series developed as a result of a one year residency at French Academy in Rome and will be available in 2023.
